I found it quite difficult.
It is dedicated to all the fine men and women who have served their countries in so many ways, in so many places, for so many reasons - and for those who simply wish to remember. Also for those who attend such ceremonies over the weekend, to be able to scrap those "remembrance day" pictures too.

In answer to a members request for a tutorial to make awareness ribbons.
I searched everywhere for one and ended up making this quick guide.
Once you have played with this guide you can be more adventurous
and add textures and designs or even reshape or create them your own way.
Each part was done on a separate layer using Preset Shapes / Vector /Antialias

Using Project Dogwaffle 1.2 (Freeware) which you can download here
1) Download the Freeware
2) Scan for Viruses
3) Paint a random picture using the brush and various settings
4) Save as .bmp so that you can open it in Paint Shop Pro
5) Open in Paint Shop Pro and save as .jpg
6) Make a paper using Effects / Image Effects / Seamless tiling
Your creations are yours to do with as you please
This is merely an idea to spark your creativity!

with some items from my Africa Gift 2 kit.
Inspired by the rugged rocks and the earthy muted tones of the bush and desert, and of the rock paintings of the San people. A wonderful place to explore and hike, rock climb, sand surf, safari, and experience the warmth and spirit of the west coast of South Africa. Sunset photograph used only in preview, by Sharon VZ of Lamberts Bay.
Kit comprises of 8 papers, 8 glass stones, 1 spear Frame, 1 beaded and gold frame, i stitched tag, and ALPHA. 12" x 12" kit, elements in 300 dpi PNG format. Papers in jpg format and ALPHA in PNG Format.

Africa Green is the last part of this Africa themed collection. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating it and am glad it has been so well received.
